A commercial roof inspection service you can rely on. Our commercial-grade drones provide you with a detailed and comprehensive roof inspection of your large commercial roof, without the need to gain physical access to potentially dangerous working areas, and with minimal disruptions to your business.
Roof surveys and inspections ensure your commercial building is in good condition and that your business operates with minimal disruptions. Our independent commercial roof surveys identify maintenance requirements and potential issues to ensure your building’s safety and allow you to take preventative measures and avoid large costs in the future.
Our drone roof surveys use advanced drone technology with 4K and thermal imaging cameras to give you a safe and cost-effective way to inspect your commercial property roof; to discover if maintenance is required, identify any wear and tear before it becomes a problem, and comply with the maintenance terms in your warranty.
Based on the information you provide about the scope of work, we provide a quote for our services. Once work is agreed, we’ll schedule a time and day to visit your commercial property.
Our commercial-grade drone surveys capture high-quality images and data from a pre-planned flight path, using high-resolution cameras, thermal cameras and specific sensors.
Controlled by our trained and certified drone pilots, we ensure that data collection is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible.
We then analyse this captured data with specialist software, to create a survey report with high-resolution images, in 2D orthomosaics, 3D models, and other outputs that you desire.
These can be used for analysis and effective decision-making much faster and with a greater level of detail and accuracy than traditional roof inspections
Our commercial drone roof survey services provide a range of benefits compared to traditional roof inspections, which include:
Traditional commercial roof surveys are time-consuming, due to the scale of the project and the safety precautions necessary. With our drone surveys, you can reduce the time-to-completion from weeks to hours.
Reducing the time needed means we charge a lot less than traditional roof surveys, and you don’t need to spend on scaffolding or any additional safety gear!
A drone roof survey reduces the chances of any damage to your roof caused by the survey itself, by having people walk over the roof and hard-to-access areas.
The high-definition images our drones provide offer much clearer and higher-quality images than traditional roof surveys.
We store the GPS flight path of all our drone surveys and images, meaning these reports can be compared with future surveys to note changes before they become problems.
Drones can access hard-to-reach places and work at dangerous heights without risk to personnel, increasing safety for our roof inspection team and for your employees
Without the need for scaffolding or safety equipment, we can complete a detailed drone roof inspection with no disruptions to the operation of your business.
Our drones can give you a more comprehensive view of your commercial roof, making sure no issues are missed.

“I recently had a roof inspection carried out by Alex at Full View Limited. The level of service and quality of work was excellent and the time taken was so quick in comparison to having to have scaffolding erected so that a survey could be done. The images and reporting were amazing and any work that was required was so clearly defined.
The result being that any contractor that I employ can see immediately what has to be done. I would not hesitate to recommend Full View Limited for such professional and competent work carried out.”
“We have worked with Full View for a number of years to undertake our drone survey work. Many of our projects at Mark Doodes Planning involve the use of CGI images to illustrate the impact of new development to show convincing “before and after” style images.
Full View's work is the foundation of this work with 4K photography. We have found Alex's team to be responsive to our sometimes demanding needs and always able to react quickly to new requirements.”
“Alex arrived punctually and was very friendly and polite. After checking conditions in our attic and two areas of water ingress he began his thorough drone inspection externally.
Following the inspection he took time to show me areas of concern. This was followed up with photos and full inspection report a few days later. Alex was professional throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending him if you need an independent roof inspection.”

In short, yes, regular roof inspections can prevent the majority of roofing issues by spotting them early, and before they develop into costly roof repairs. Issues such as damaged or missing tiles, or areas of heat loss can be signs that bigger problems like structural weakness, or dampness are about to develop.
This is even more important for commercial buildings such as factories or warehouses, where roof repairs and replacements can have a significant impact on the ongoing operation of a business.
Drone surveys for commercial properties usually start at £700 but can become more expensive for bigger warehouses or factories with complex geographies.
For example, for a large warehouse or factory with only a large single flat roof, the survey will be much quicker and therefore cheaper.
Meanwhile a commercial roof with multiple storeys, roofs of different shapes and pitch, and spread out over a large area will take longer, require a more complex flight path with additional planning time, and cost more.
Yes, we offer thermal drone surveys as part of our commercial roof inspection service.
These can help to identify areas of heat loss which can save your company thousands. They can also identify water ingress, and spot areas which need repair before they are visible to the naked eye.
A roof survey for a residential building should take around 1 to 2 hours, for the drone surveying. However, a commercial roof survey can take anywhere from half a day to multiple days. This depends on the size and scale of the roof that needs surveying. For example, a simple flat factory roof will be much simpler than the largest warehouse roofs that have multiple levels.
The analysis of the images will also take a day or two, depending on how much work needs to be done to the roof and how much data needs to be analysed.
