Our drone roof inspection service uses state-of-the-art DJI drones that offer the highest quality imagery, perfect for inspecting residential or commercial buildings.
We then turn our findings into a clear, easy-to-understand report, helping you make informed decisions about maintenance requirements.
For us, no space is out of reach; no roof is too high and no structure is too dangerous. We can capture images that would be almost impossible to achieve with a traditional manual survey as our feet remain firmly on the ground whilst our drones do the hard work.
There are many reasons why you may be considering a roof inspection for your home or business. These include but are not limited to:
Drones can capture high-resolution images and videos, giving the most accurate assessment of a roof’s condition. The benefits of using a drone to carry out a roof survey include:
Using a drone requires fewer people and fewer resources making the cost much less for a higher-quality survey. In short, you pay less to get more.
We provide a commercial roof inspection service that you can rely on. Our commercial roof surveys identify maintenance requirements and potential issues to ensure your building’s safety. This allows you to take preventative measures and avoid significant costs in the future.
You may even require regular surveys on your commercial property to comply with insurance or health and safety requirements. This is even more reason to turn to us as we strive to make this process cost-effective, safe and hassle-free.
We know how important it is to make sure that your home is safe. Our residential roof surveys will identify any maintenance that is needed and uncover any potential issues to ensure your building’s safety.
It will also allow you to take any necessary preventative measures to avoid significant costs in the future.
If you would like a new homebuyer survey, our roof survey service is ideal for a swift, yet thorough inspection.
We also provide roof surveys for listed and heritage buildings. These structures are often complex and sometimes prone to damage. This means that traditional surveying techniques may cause damage whilst trying to access the roof and may only be able to reach the peripheries.
Our drone-led roof inspection service easily bypasses these issues by viewing the entire structure from the air. This helps to protect and preserve heritage assets long into the future.
Based on the information you provide about the roof survey you need, we’ll provide you with a quote for our services. Once work is agreed, we’ll schedule a time and day to visit your property.
Our commercial-grade drone surveys capture high-quality images and data from a pre-planned flight path, using high-resolution cameras, thermal cameras and specific sensors.
Controlled by our trained and certified drone pilots, we ensure that data collection is carried out as efficiently, accurately, and safely as possible.
We then analyse this captured data to create a survey report with high-resolution images, in 2D orthomosaics, 3D models/ digital twins of your property, and other formats that you desire.
These can be used for analysis and effective decision-making much faster and with a greater level of accuracy than traditional roof inspections.
We make sure our drone roof inspection reports are easy-to-read, accurate, and completely transparent. While we provide recommendations on any repair work based on our years of experience in roofing, all the decision-making is up to you. You can see examples of our drone inspection reports below.
“I recently had a roof inspection carried out by Alex at Full View Limited. The level of service and quality of work was excellent and the time taken was so quick in comparison to having to have scaffolding erected so that a survey could be done. The images and reporting were amazing and any work that was required was so clearly defined.
The result being that any contractor that I employ can see immediately what has to be done. I would not hesitate to recommend Full View Limited for such professional and competent work carried out."
“These guys really know their stuff. I needed a roof surveyed on a property, I called full view they were out the next day. They were so professional and captured great footage so I could inspect the roof for myself.
Great work guys. "
“Alex arrived punctually and was very friendly and polite. After checking conditions in our attic and two areas of water ingress he began his thorough drone inspection externally.
Following the inspection he took time to show me areas of concern. This was followed up with photos and full inspection report a few days later.
Alex was professional throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending him if you need an independent roof inspection."
Our drone roof inspection services are faster, cheaper, and safer than traditional, manual roof inspections.

Yes, regular roof inspections can prevent the majority of roofing issues by spotting them early, and before they develop into costly roof repairs. Issues such as damaged or missing tiles, leaky roofs, or areas of heat loss can be signs that bigger problems like structural weakness, or dampness are about to develop.
Drone roof inspections are very accurate to the centimetre! And because you can see the images and any damage with your own eyes, you have the full picture of any repair work that needs to be completed from our inspection.
Yes, we offer thermal drone surveys upon request, or where we think they are appropriate. This can be where there is a concern of heat loss and high energy bills, or where we want to inspect solar panel performance for example.
Thermal drone surveys can help to identify areas of heat loss which can save your company thousands. They can also identify water ingress, and spot areas which need repair before they are visible to the naked eye.
A drone roof inspection for a residential building can take anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours, depending on the size and scale of the roof that needs surveying. For example, a pitched roof for a semi-detached house will be much simpler than the roof of a mansion that has multiple levels.
The analysis of the images will also take a day or two, depending on how much work needs to be done to the roof and how much data needs to be analysed.
How much your drone roof inspection costs will depend on the size of your roof, the scale of the property, and the complexity of the geometry.
For example, a single-story flat roof will be much more simple to survey, and could cost around £200. Meanwhile, a mansion with 5 separate roofs at different levels, difficult to reach areas, would require a much more complex flight path with a lot more analysis of the images, and could cost upwards of £800+
Some roof repair businesses offer free roof inspections in the hope that they will recoup their costs through the repair work they do for you.
However, as we don’t offer repair services, we don’t offer free drone inspections. This isn’t something we advise either, as any roofing business that offers free roof inspections is heavily invested in finding repair work, even if it doesn’t exist.
