We are one of the UK's leading aerial surveying companies. We use state-of-the-art drone technology to capture high-resolution imagery of even the most inaccessible areas to provide you with a cost-effective and detailed aerial inspection.
By integrating the latest in drone technology with advanced thermal imaging capabilities, photogrammetry, and the data analysis of our expert team, we deliver faster, cost-effective, and highly detailed insights compared to traditional survey methods.
Aerial surveys capture high-resolution images and geographical and topographic information of a large area of land, and are used for a variety of purposes and industries, from land surveying to construction planning and monitoring.
We utilise advanced drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), due to their aerial photography capabilities, their hardware compatablities, and their freedom of movement. They can fly closer to the ground and capture more data with high-resolution images than traditional surveys. They can also be equipped with a variety of sensors, including LiDAR and thermal imaging.
All of our aerial surveying services are delivered by CAA-accredited operators with enhanced Permissions for Commercial Operation (PfCO).
Our UAV aerial inspections can be completed much faster than traditional ground-based surveys, which can reduce the time significantly from weeks to days.
Because our aerial surveys are faster, we charge less than traditional surveys or satellite imagery while still providing more accurate imagery and data.
Our drones use the latest technology and software to capture data that is accurate to the centimetre and can measure elevation for topography, or temperature for thermal surveys.
The high-definition images our drones provide offer much clearer and higher quality images than comparable surveys and more recent imagery than Google Earth.
When we conduct drone mapping surveys, we store the GPS flight path. This means that datasets can be analysed and repeated to see progression over time.
Our drones can access hard-to-reach places and fly over hazardous terrain to capture data and increase your safety, your team's, and your business's safety.
Our drone aerial surveys provide you with highly detailed surveys while minimisnig any potential disruptions to your business’s operations.
“These guys really know their stuff. I needed a roof surveyed on a property, I called Full View they were out the next day. They were so professional and captured great footage so I could inspect the roof for myself.”
“We have worked with Full View for a number of years to undertake our drone survey work. Many of our projects at Mark Doodes Planning involve the use of CGI images to illustrate the impact of new development to show convincing “before and after” style images.”
“Full View's work is the foundation of this work with 4K photography. We have found Alex's team to be responsive to our sometimes demanding needs and always able to react quickly to new requirements.”
“We have worked with Full View on a number of our projects. They have provided us with multiple services including, field mapping, stills to aid planning proposals and drone photography. The quality of the work is exceptional and is always delivered quickly and efficiently. Alex goes above and beyond to provide clear, reliable and accessible data. We cannot recommend Full View highly enough.”
At Full View, we have expertise covering the entire range of aerial surveying, from topographical surveys to detailed roof inspection reports. We offer fast and flexible callout times to get you your reports as soon as possible.

Aerial surveys start from £400 in prices, but costs can go into the several thousands, depending on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to:

Photogrammetry is a technique where we collect information from hundreds of 2D aerial images captured by our drones, measuring elevation, distance and angles.
These overlapping images can then be combined using specialist software to create a realistic 3D model or digital twin of topographical surfaces and physical structures.
In simple terms, an orthomosaic is like a traditional aerial survey from a plane or a satellite, but in much more detail and clearer. It is essentially a large map created by stitching together many smaller photographs, called orthophotographs, or ‘orthos’.
Yes. We adhere to all industry guidelines and will acquire proper planning and permissions necessary to conduct surveys in urban areas.
Applications for our drone aerial inspections include topographic mapping, site inspection, construction monitoring, stockpile surveys, environmental assessment, and building and roof inspections.
Drone surveys cover larger areas in less time, providing a comprehensive aerial view and reducing the need for extensive on-site personnel. Compared to traditional aerial surveys, such as satellite or aerial photography, they are much cheaper and give a more detailed view of the area.
